We regularly offer camps and clinics teaching the natural horsemanship techniques that we use to train our horses. There are sessions aimed at participants of all ages and experience levels. Stay tuned for event announcements of upcoming programs.
Adoption Support

Adopters are offered free instruction with their new horse before they take it home to demonstrate the methods used in its training and to ensure effective communication in the new partnership. Supplemental lessons, either in clinic or one on one settings, are offered if any problems are encountered after you take your horse home.

Orientation training is given to all volunteers working at the rescue, with additional instruction provided by our staff trainers to those who wish to learn more in order to move into roles that involve handling the horses, whether it be feeding, ground work, riding or training.

There is limited availability of private riding and horsemanship instruction with one of our staff trainers. We presently have both English and Western disciplines being offered, with priority being given to adopters, potential adopters and volunteers. Contact us for further information.

MHR Ambassadors, Elvis and Scooby Doo, make public appearances at Assisted Living Facilities, schools, fairs and promotional events. Send us a message to inquire about availability.
